Young Tradition Vermont and Burlington Parks and Recreation with support from the Quebec Delegation Boston and Country Dance and Song Society will welcome a variety of young players, singers and dancers who will perform with their teachers, parents and/or mentors.
The concert will feature duo and small group combinations including children and youth who study with some of the best known performers, recording artists, and teachers in the region, including:
Ismael Bangoura (West African drummer); Elly Barksdale (Balkan singer); Sarah Blair (Irish fiddler); Kristin Bolton (step dancer); Joe Cleary (fiddler); Tim Cummings (piper and whistle player); Tony DeMarco (Irish fiddler); Dominique Dodge (Irish & Celtic harper); Joanne Garton (Scottish fiddler and dancer); Pascal Gemme (Quebec fiddler); Yann Falquet (Quebec guitarist); Sarah Hotchkiss (fiddler); Mediha Jusufagic (Bosnian dancer); Peter Macfarlane (fiddler); Beth Anne McFadden (Irish dancer); Jeremiah McLane (accordion player); Heather Morris (Celtic step dancer); Brian Perkins (multi-intrumentalist; Rehanna Pothiawala (Indian dancer); Lynn Mahoney Rowan (singer); Beth Telford (Cape Breton fiddler); Benedict Koehler (Irish piper); Hilari Farrington (Irish accordion and harp player); Mary Wesley (dance caller), and others.
