Learn knitting in the round and cable stitches like you see on those beautiful Aran sweaters! In the workshop, we’ll work on a tubular neck warmer as a sampler to try out a variety of cable stitches. You’ll also leave with instructions and a link to a video series on knitting the Burlington Irish Heritage Festival’s 802-Cable Hat. Aimed at new-ish knitters (who can cast-on, knit and purl) and any intermediate or advanced knitters who want to learn cables. $20 materials fee includes yarn, circular needle, cable needle, and instructions for the neck warmer and hat.
